First Game Ever - First Win Ever

In their very first game together, the Red Hots made their mark in Pleasant Hill Saturday with their first ever win in franchise history. Things didn't look too bright at first when they were down 5-0. But it only took a couple of innings for the Red Hots to bring out their "hit parade" scoring 10 runs in the last two innings. Two great plays in the middle of the game by Judy Chen and Fritz Schwartz along with two clutch plays in the last inning by Ivan Perez and Michele Spencer. Fritz Schwartz ended the game by striking out the last batter, ending the score at

11-9. However, there was a cost for this win. Jon Linville pulled his hamstring and is currently on a day to day status while Jenny Lo suffered a bad scrape to her elbow. We'll keep you posted on both injuries here on the web.
