#THISTEAM

Fall 2021 was an epic and historic season.  The team finished the regular season undefeated (the 3rd time in franchise history), with its defense allowing an impressive 2.4 runs per game.  This crushed the previous record of 5.0 runs per game set back in the Fall of 2015.

In the playoffs, the team defeated Brew Crew 14-7, and in the Finals, defeated Flying Grass Snakes, 16-4, securing the Red Hots SEVENTH championship in franchise history.

Congratulations Red Hots!  Enjoy the off-season.  We'll see you back in the Spring to keep this thing going!

The Goose Keeps Us Undefeated

The Red Hots probably wouldn't have had their 7-run first inning without the assistance of this goose.  Thank you! You're an honorary Red Hot!

Fall Opener Shutout

The Red Hots began their Fall season opener with a bang.  Lead-off hitter, Josh Woods, homered giving the team an early 1-0 lead.  This lead to a 10-run 1st inning against Alley Cats.  The team ended up winning in 5 innings with a 15-0 victory.  It was the Red Hots' 7th shoutout in team history.

Summer 2021 Division Champs

No one would have predicted the Red Hots winning the division after starting the season (0-3), but miraculously, the team was able to turn things around and finish the remainder of the season with a (6-1) record, edging out Hit It Hard for the Summer division. This earns the team a first-round bye in the Summer playoffs.

Post COVID: The Red Hots Are Back!

Today, May 16, 2021, was more than just the game. It was a return to what was once the norm. This was our comfort zone, our joy, our hobby that we loved. Softball was on hiatus due to COVID-19 for a year and a half. Today's event was a bit different with specific procedures, but boy, was it nice to be outside without a mask, for the most part, letting that sunshine and the outdoors seep into your pores.

Sure, the rusty Red Hots fell hard against Son of Pitches, 3-16.  But it was a victory for all of us. We were back together again with big smiles.
