Tie

Team Red Hots were EN FUEGO in the first inning, batting around while scoring 8 runs....

But wait...you CANT score more than 7 runs per inning (Recreational Rule) -  The umpire ended the bottom of the 1st with only 1 out recorded....

WHAT A BUZZ KILL

Unfortunately, the Red Hots lost their mojo and could only muster 2 more runs for the rest of the game.  Meanwhile, Dan's Rejects rallied back to tie the game 10-10.

Fortunately this game didnt matter since the Red Hots finished with a better record than Dan's Rejects.  They finish 1st in their classification.

We'll see you Wednesday, Nov 2nd for the FALL PLAYOFFS

Playoffs - Here We Come!

The Red Hots have clinched the final spot of the Summer League Playoffs!  They swept I'd Hit That in Sunday's doubleheader by the scores of 7-4 & 11-7.  Some highlights that must be mentioned were Ashley Smith's hit which she crushed to deep left field,  Teresa & Kellie's defensive play where Teresa caught a fly for an out and lined one into 2nd baseman Kellie who tagged the runner for a double play.  And last but not least, Ron G's game ending double play at 3rd in which he tagged his base and threw a heater to Lauren who made the clutch catch at 1st to end the game.

The Red Hots have another doubleheader before the regular season closes which will be a great tune up for the playoffs which will be start on July 30th.

So Close

It was the 2011 Summer season opener and the Red Hots were 1 out away from defeating Last Call for the first time in probably 10 tries. But lady luck was on their side, defeating the Red Hots in the bottom of the 7th inning to win it 6-5.
