Victory! (Moral, that is)

It took about 3 years and 9 match ups later, but the Red Hots avoided another loss against Last Call by finishing with a TIE, 11-11. Its not a WIN, but we'll take it!

Victory

The Red Hots have snapped a 4 game losing streak in dramatic fashion as Spencer Hulsey hits the game winning RBI single to win it in the bottom of the 6th inning, 13-12 over Twenty Somethings.

Outmuscled

The Red Hots struggled to generate offense in week two as they lost to a pretty solid team in Holy Toledo, 13-2. Look for them to rebound behind interim manager Janis Gomes next week against (0-2) Pulled Hammies

Red Hots a little rusty, Lose 9-4

Its the Fall season opener and the first three innings didn't look too promising as team Fear This managed to score the first 6 runs while blanking out the Red Hots. However, what kept them in the game was their tight defense thanks to spectacular plays by newcomer Ashley Bakken. The Red Hots slowly but surely chipped away at the lead, getting it as close as 6-4 in the 6th inning, but Fear This added some insurance runs in the last inning to win it 9-4. During this attempt at a comeback, the Red Hots lost 1st baseman Tara Schratz to a leg injury. At this point its safe to say that she'll be out a good couple of weeks. We'll keep you posted!

Congratulations to the Red Hots squad for finishing with an 8-4-2 record for the 2010 summer season. Looking forward to having everyone back for the Fall!
